Angled Optimized Suspension

XC Materials
Our X/C race bikes are constructed using either our proprietary FOC carbon fabrication process for minimal flex, or our lighter-weight speed metal for easier climbs. Our proprietary FOC methodology for carbon frame fabrication allows us to make a bike frame that doesn’t flex in ways it shouldn’t because of pedaling, steering or impact forces. Basically, you get a frame that rides the way you want without sacrificing the strength and durability you need. GT Speed Metal is a light-weight aluminum construction designed to be light enough so you can climb with the XC crowd, with the ability to leave them comfortably behind on the way down.

Independent Drivetrain
This suspension does its job. Period. Because it operates independently of the drivetrain, the suspension can focus solely on its intended purpose – a smoother, faster ride – without making compromises in pedaling efficiency. And because it’s an inherently simple design, it’s easy to set up, ride and maintain. Sound good? Good.

Triple Triangle
Originally developed to extend the frame life, stiffen the rear triangle and thus create a faster, more responsive ride, the Triple Triangle frame has transcended its role as just another tech story and become an iconic symbol of who we are and what we stand for.

Tapered Head Tube
Our forged, tapered head tube affords the same steering response and stiffness without suffering a weight penalty.
